By 2025, Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company will build an annual output of 50 billion cubic meters of atmospheric gas, and the Chuanzhong Middle Uplift will be the main battlefield for the company's natural gas production scale. This year, a total of 17 million cubic meters of high-yield gas wells have been drilled in the Chuanzhong Middle Uplift, and the daily production capacity will be greatly increased in the future. However, due to the regional natural gas purification capacity, the biggest bottleneck restricting the development of production capacity is the inability to produce and export natural gas. To unleash the potential of resources and ensure energy supply, the Ziyang Natural Gas Purification Plant started construction in October last year. The Ziyang Natural Gas Purification Plant of PetroChina Southwest Oil and Gas Field, which ranks first in domestic single processing scale, new energy installation scale, and intelligence level, has been officially put into operation. It adopts multiple independent innovative technologies and green low-carbon models, which will help release the production capacity of the Chuanzhong Gulong gas field and consolidate the national energy supply foundation. This plant is the first natural gas purification plant in China to complete forward digital delivery, building a full process digital twin and achieving full data access. 25 intelligent modules, including APC advanced control system, intelligent inspection, and human vehicle intelligent control, have built a "smart brain" to achieve intelligent management of the entire production process, increasing efficiency by 37%. The total investment of the purification plant is 3 billion yuan, covering an area of 226600 square meters. Designed to process 4 billion cubic meters of raw gas annually, with a maximum daily processing capacity of 7.2 million cubic meters per unit, it is currently the largest sulfur-containing natural gas purification plant in China with a single processing capacity. The project adopts a modular design and construction mode, with a construction period of only 11 months, which is 5 months less than the construction period of traditional purification plants and a 30% reduction in investment, setting a new record for the construction of conventional sulfur-containing natural gas purification plants in China.
