On September 3, 2025, Dagang Oilfield successfully applied the "pressure sand control" technology for the first time in well 34-13-20 of Gangxi, achieving a "zero breakthrough" in high-pressure well operation without pressure relief. This process adopts the idea of "using pressure instead of prevention", and uses special tools and technical means to carry out sand control operations on high-pressure wells without releasing pressure. The specific principle may be the use of hydraulic control and other technologies to accurately transport sand control materials to the location where sand control is required while maintaining stable wellbore pressure, forming an effective sand barrier to prevent formation sand from entering the wellbore without affecting the normal production pressure of the oil well. The "pressure sand control" process significantly shortens the construction period of a single well, reduces costs by about 30%, and significantly improves operational safety. In addition, this process avoids the problems of traditional pressure relief operations affecting production efficiency and posing safety risks. This technology has been listed as a key promotion project and is expected to be applied to 4 difficult wells by the end of the year, achieving a daily oil production of 20 tons. It is expected to provide strong support for the efficient development of Dagang Oilfield.
