In July 2025, Jichai Power and Southwest Oil and Gas Field jointly developed the first domestically produced 70 megapascal high-pressure gas injection compressor unit for ultra deep wells, which was put into use in the Shuangyu 132 well of the Northwest Sichuan Gas Mine and completed 500 hours of on-site industrial testing, with a cumulative water displacement of over 1000 cubic meters. The unit has overcome four key bottlenecks, including high pressure dynamic sealing reliability and high pressure airflow pulsation, and has broken the record for gas lift depth in domestic drainage and gas production processes, providing domestic equipment support for the development of oil and gas resources deeper than 7000 meters.
